Duratec is an ASX listed project-based contractor offering a full range of remediation services with more than 15 branches across Australia servicing the Mining, Defence, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Southern Tasmanian Operations are currently seeking agile and flexible Specialist Applicators, Labourers and Supervisors with a high regard for producing quality works, to join our project delivery team on exciting projects in the Hobart area. We are looking for candidates experienced in the following areas;

  • Specialist Applicators
  • Waterproofers
  • Industrial Blast and Painters
  • Concreters 
  • Renderers/flushers (trowel hands)
  • Flooring Specialists
  • Carpenters
  • Supervisor/Team Leader

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Industrial spray painting
  • Abrasive blasting operations
  • Protective coating application
  • Steel and Concrete remediation
  • Rendering
  • Waterproofing
  • Assisting with general duties as required

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

To be considered, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • High Pressure Water Jetting - Definite Advantage but not a must 
  • Current construction white card
  • Prepared to travel state wide to other sites in Tasmania
  • Proactive, good timekeeping, work within a cohesive team and reliable
  • A willing and pro-active attitude towards quality and safety
