THE ROLE

Due to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team working in Sydney. Reporting to and working closely with the State Lead, you will be joining a team of experienced individuals and a company who is a leader in their field, providing you with an excellent opportunity to learn, grow and advance your career.

This role attracts a salary of $100,000 plus super.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Controlling and managing all aspects of the projects involving construction, building, façade and refurbishment projects
  • Project managing from initial site setup to completion
  • Ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Ensuring effective cost control and reporting
  • Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program 

ABOUT YOU

Along with previous façade experience you maintain:

  • Extensive project management and delivery skills including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stake holder management, subcontractor management, documentation and statutory approvals
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to grow and develop a high performing team
  • The ability to develop, maintain and influence positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • An understanding of safety policies and procedures and the ability to inspire a positive safety culture
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction or Engineering
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Be highly articulate with strong communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and MS Project
